**Takeda operates two production sites in Italy, one in Rieti and one in Pisa. Both are specialized in plasma processing. At the Rieti site, the plasma donated by millions of people around the world undergoes a fractionation process from which high therapeutic value proteins are obtained. They are essential for the treatment of various severe and rare pathologies.**:

**About the role**:
**As a member of the Site's Leadership Team, you will oversee the EHS function for Rieti and Pisa manufacturing sites and ensure employees are working in a safe and controlled environment, **in compliance** with the local/regional environmental health & safety regulations. You will also be responsible for leading necessary improvement actions related to Health, Environment, and Safety **and act a primary liaison with the external regulatory agencies.**:
**How you will contribute**:

- ** You will provide overall leadership, coaching and support to EHS Staff. Influence employees at all levels of organization to achieve and maintain a strong culture of safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.**:

- ** You will coordinate the deployment of a management system that supports Environment Health and Safety by investigating and analyzing (potential) EHS issues in accordance with regional and national, divisional or corporate guidelines, law, and ongoing technical developments**:

- ** You will oversee the preparation of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), following the legal requirements, current working practices, and internal standards**:

- ** You will monitor and direct the facility regarding new environmental permits related to operations and construction.**:

- **You will manage control of hazardous materials and selection/deployment of personal protective equipment**:

- ** Oversees the removal of hazardous waste. Consistently look for ways to better manage and improve site waste management practices and strategies and other cost savings/process improvements, accordingly to legal requirements and internal standards.**:

- ** Define, maintain and manage the site emergency management procedures to assure preparedness and organized management of crisis situations. Lead the Site Crisis Management team.**:

- ** You will have to monitor and audit EHS activities, procedures, and guidelines (e.g. training, auditing of working places, responding to accidents, implementing corrective actions, and leading the 8D completion) following applicable procedures, law, and Takeda E.H.S. Management System**:

- ** You will manage daily and monthly updates of KPI and aligned project status following reporting structures to ensure all relevant information is at management's disposal**:

- ** You will manage the preparation of instructions and implementation of training for all employees to ensure emergency preparedness of the site in case of fire evacuation and all other relevant events. This must follow Takeda and local law procedures**:

- ** You will manage the occupational health program/services. This includes appropriate interfaces with site’s Doctor, Human Resources and legal representative for the related topics.**:

- ** You might represent us towards the (local) government in EHS issues, if needed, following authority level and code of conduct, to exchange and gather information**:

- ** You will **manage EHS department budget, develop and implement EHS strategy**, following regional, national, divisional, or corporate guidelines, procedures, and law.**:

- ** You will be in charge of Supervising Car fleet management and mobile devices attribution following Takeda and local procedures**:
