**What you will do**

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day services are delivered, in Italy, according to in-house requirements and outsourced services provided, ensuring timeliness, quality and in keeping with the agreed service levels (SLAs). The position is responsible for direct payroll provider escalation and advising the Payroll leadership team concerning potential risks relating to payroll. The role is also responsible for ensuring fluid end-to-end processes between on site, in country, cross business, vendor and Johnson Controls leadership representatives and responsibilities.

**How you will do it**
- Involved in the day-to-day processing operation to ensure local service delivery happens as agreed
- Manages the relationship between the department, the business and the outsourcing partner
- Determining own work priorities in accordance with the workload, deadlines and change requests
- Monitors outsourced partner (ADP Streamline) service delivery and ensures SLAs are met
- Utilising the HRIS Workday
- Prepare input & output for payroll sign off by Payroll manager
- Provides payroll and reporting support
- Liaise with all the stakeholders and business partners internally and externally
- Assist the Payroll Manager with project work as and when it arises

**What we look for**
**Required**
- Experience in Italian payroll and payroll tax processes
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate knowledge of excel (V Look ups and Pivot tables)
- Ability to calculate changes to pay rates based on time off, overtime, etc.
- Ability to gather data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Fluent in English is essential, knowledge of another European language is beneficial

**Preferred**
- Experience in Spanish payroll is a plus
- Experience working with ADP Streamline
- Experience working for a multinational organisation
