Team Overview and Job responsibilities

Define and implement the marketing and communication strategy in our markets and reference customers in coordination with the entire organization and sales force.

Define and communicate the company identity, its brands, and products to increase sales, being the initiator, coordinator and ambassador of the Prysmian Group for Italy.

Main Missions:

- Define and implement the marketing and communication strategy in Italy:

- Competitive intelligence and market analysis for the development of the official reporting group tool (Market Tool), in collaboration with Sales. Relations with the headquarters in Milan for design, consistency of data.
- Participation in the definition of the brand strategy by product/channel at the local level and in coordination with the HQ.
- Developing the marketing and communication plan for each business and on the main customers (for major international projects in coordination with BUs at HQ and South Europe MID team).
- Defining and managing the marketing and communication budget in line with the company's objectives.
- Relations with the representative bodies of the profession and active participation in the activities (For instance: AICE, CEI, etc).
- Manage corporate communication:

- Management of the group's corporate communications in Italy: Interface with the HQ on the group's strategy and communication plan and implementation in Italy.
- Management of agencies, consultants and various marketing communication providers
- Media Relationship: Management of the group's press relations: writing or translating and disseminating press releases, relations with journalists, monitoring of media coverage.
- Events and Public Relations: Management of national trade shows, and collaboration with HQ for international trade shows. Organizing events dedicated to our customers and partners
- Advertising and Direct Marketing: prepare ads and media plans for specific product and projects.
- Web/Digital Communication: management and animation of website, social networks and a web loyalty club for the group in Italy
- Content production: creating communication tools (videos, brochures)
- Technical literature: preparation and updating of catalogues, brochures, technical sheets
- Merchandising: Creation of POS material
- Internal communication: creating internal communication tools (in collaboration with HR), for different services (QHSE, factories, ADV, logistics)
- Operational marketing and communication:

- Support the sales force, product managers and R&D department in business plans and product launches (product and brand strategy, product documentation, packaging, )
- Develop strong relationships with the sales force to identify customer and market expectations and provide consistent and relevant marketing and communication content.
- Forging strong relationships with key customers to develop marketing and communication collaboration and Co-Marketing action plans (commercial promotions, events and fairs, trainings and webinaires, POS activities, joint web/digital operations, etc..)

Who are we looking for?

Leadership/Management skills:
Ability to work as a team and in a matrix context and in international environment.

Good communication skills are needed as well as autonomy, proactivity and problem-solving approach.

Flexibility and adaptability are required to manage unexpected events/stressful situations.

Technical skills:
Microsoft suite

**Experience**:
5 years experience in similar role in international company and industrial environment..

Master Degree in Business School with specialization in marketing and communication.

Languages: Italian, English are mandatory + Spanish and/or French
