Continuous Improvement Site Expert

We are hiring We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Professional to be located in Nogara (VR). The Continuous Improvement Site Expert (Production System Green Belt) is part of Kuehne+Nagel’s Contract Logistics Production System department in Italy and drives Continuous Improvement on site by delivering value to our food & beverage client and operations.
- ** Your Role **:Continuous Improvement Expert’s responsibility is to implement Kuehne+Nagel’s continuous improvement program (Production System) for our logistics site in Nogara (VR) in alignment with local management team and ensures the delivery of savings and productivity improvements.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Facilitates and fosters the Continuous Improvement process, culture and site program deployment across the warehousing operation
- Implements and maintains continuous improvement techniques and Production System tools such as: Lean Six Sigma, Value
- Stream Mapping, 5S, visual management, Standard work, SQCDEP boards, process status boards, process control boards, Flow, and more
- Implements Kuehne+Nagel’s Excellence program
- Identifies, leads and delivers LSS projects using DMAIC methodology, project opportunties or Kaizens activities in line with site objectives and budget requirements together with operational teams and in collaboration with employees of different teams
- Supports to implement productivity management tools to ensure consistent measurement and monitoring of productivity
- Reports Continuous Improvement Activity in Corporate Tracker tool

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Educated to Bachelor/master degree standard or equivalent level of thinking and performance by experience
3 to 5 years experience in an operational role
- Experience in Logistics / Supply chain or Production environment is regarded as a plus
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or proven background in the delivery of Lean Six Sigma projects and continuous improvement activities (min. 2 years)
- Strong communication skills: able to build rapport with colleagues at different levels in the organization, eager to coach and train people.
- Analytical and problem solving thinking combined with a hands-on and proactive mind-set.
- Demonstrates a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to energize and inspire others
- Able to translate national level targets to practical objectives at operations level
- Advanced skills in MS office tools, Minitab regarded as a plus
- Fluent in Italian, advanced in English
