**A quick snapshot**

Aptean develops and maintains retail software for around 1000 global brands. Aptean needs a Product Manager for Retail Planning solutions to support growth in the Company. This is a very key role and you will be relied upon to help drive requirements for the enhancements to our suite of products, particularly in the area of Merchandise and Assortment Planning.

**Are you the person we are looking for?**

The role requires to:

- Define product vision
- Define product strategy - the current and future state
- Prepare, maintain, and evangelize product roadmap - involving sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and other groups
- Contribute to product pricing and positioning
- Conduct market research, customer research and competitive analysis
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies
- Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas from different stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Product Management team on solution release scope and planning
- Define Epics, in terms of business requirements
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog at Epic level
- Support Professional Services (Delivery), Sales and Client Care

**Here’s what will give you an edge**

Good understanding of the retail planning and operations. Having worked in a product company or in retail industry - for example, as merchandise planner or similar role

**Education & Skills.**
- Knowledge of Fashion/Apparel and Retail business processes and industry business issues, at a strategic and operational level is a must
- Experience on processes and planning tools such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning and Product Lifecycle Management
- Degree in one of the following domains: Economics, Engineering or Computer Science.
- Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills.
