Tierra is a joint venture company established in 2008 by Topcon Positioning Systems and Divitech, with the goal of developing telematics solutions to maximize management, efficiency, safety and profits.
- Tierra designs and develops electronic systems (both software and hardware) for geo-localization, management, remote diagnostics and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, sensors, and industrial products.-

Collaboration and exchange are at the basis of our vision.We are looking for a junior profile to support the Product Quality manager for the quality control activities of the hardware product and the production process.

MAIN TASKS
- Conduct the analysis of the problems of the devices returned from the field and follow the progress of the corrective actions; support the receiving/inspection department when needed
- Collaborate with hardware specialists for the preparation of samples to be sent to the certification bodies and follow the certification process by acting as an interface with the suppliers and giving support where necessary
- Help the quality manager to update all quality-related procedures and documentation (eg 8D, FMEA, PPAP, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate and qualify new components
- Make sure laboratory, test and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Participate in conducting supplier quality Audits to ensure all procedures are followed and critical manufacturing processes are under control
- Help review / analyze quality metrics for continuous improvement

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Electronics and telecommunications graduation or similar
- Experience with quality control in a production context
- Ability to read printouts, diagrams and other technical documents
- Use of laboratory tools such as oscilloscope, network analyzer, caliper and other measuring instruments
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
