The Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, is looking for a Switchboard Operator for the 2023 season in order to create memorable gest experiences before, during, and after guests stays.
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Answers all incoming calls
- Directs call to guest rooms, staff, or departments
- Places outgoing calls
- Receives guest messages and delivers the same to the guest
- Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call services
- Provides information about the hotel and its services to guests
- Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required
- Assists in reporting service complaints and problems.
- Always follows telephone etiquette
- Is fully aware of and adhere of health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures
- Has strong multitasking abilities
- Is polite and courteous while answering the phone
