What you will do

Develop and coordinate the Development of cooling systems for domestic refrigerators/freezers.

Product improvement for existing range of models.- Dimensioning of cooling components (evaporator, condenser, compressor, fan, capillary pipes) and simulation models.- Verify results through test processes.- Development of control logic software parameters (cut in-off of temperature probes, compressor speed).- Study solutions to increase efficiency of cooling system and temperature control.- Investigate issues from market to improve existing products.- Take part in cost reduction/ alternative supplier activities.- Follow up of technical development over project timeline.- Be the direct manager of two engineers, including but not limited to performance and career management.- In close contact with the LAB manager, supervise the execution of internal and external testing.

What you need to succeed

Must have- Experience/ knowledge of cooling compression cycle components (compressors, heat exchangers, air fans).- Knowledge of performance and regulation for domestic refrigerators or products with similar physics (Industrial refrigerators or Air conditioners)- Thermodynamic engineer (white good appliances is preferable) - 4+ years
- Education: _Bachelor’s degree/ Master degree - Energy Engineer (thermodynamics)
- Languages: _Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken
- Soft skills: _Teamworking, Attention to details, Methodical approach; Initiative. Multitasking.

Nice to have

Experience in the design of domestic refrigerators, previous experience with managing teams even if of small dimensions
