**Role Mission**

To learn, grow and develop your skills and competencies in your new cybersecurity career as a Trainee Compliance Analyst.

You will follow a training programme in the information security field to learn standards and gain the technical skills necessary to support and eventually deliver security consultancy engagements for clients within financial services and payment card industries, such as:

- Information Security Assessments based on PCI standards, SWIFT CSP, PSD2
- GAP Analysis on a client entity's security posture
- Policy and Procedure reviews

**Key Responsibilities**
- Begin growing consultancy skills and competencies within a wider team.
- Get to know industry standards, best practice, and soak up the experience from our mentors.
- Support other team members, by participating in challenging but rewarding information/cyber security projects.
- Assist with the analysis, documentation, and key remediation actions as directed by your supervisor.
- Deliver tasks or projects assigned to you to a high professional quality, on time and on budget - according to your supervisor's requirements.
- Get to know the tools, techniques, and methodologies to carry out your role effectively.
- Participate in discussions around vulnerabilities, technologies, new threats and trends in the cybersecurity industry.
- Shape a future career and learn how strengths might align to a Career Pathway.

**Skills Required**:

- Fluency in both verbal and written Italian.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English - or currently undergoing English language training.
- Understanding of computer technologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks (Firewall, Switch, router, OSI model, etc.).
- Basic technical knowledge of information security, cloud environments, cryptography.
- Understanding of typical cybersecurity principles: Data Protection, Confidentiality-Integrity-Availability, Threats, and Vulnerabilities.

**Preferred**
- Pursuing and/or holds a Degree level or higher diploma qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent recognised qualification in a related field.
- Cybersecurity training bootcamp or work experience in a related field.
- Understanding of the PCI family of information security standards, OWASP, NIST, GDPR, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, work in teams, achieve established goals and objectives, and communicate progress in a timely manner.
- Must be analytical, innovative, pays strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills.
