**What does the job of Project Leader look like?**

In Abac Aria Compressa the Project Leader is part of the Project Development Team. Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, the team is responsible for all the R&D development projects of the company and the division. The team consists of strong and experienced Project Leaders and Project Engineers who work strictly day by day to reach the Business targets. Project Leaders have the responsibility to manage costs and timing of the projects they lead.

**What knowledge we expect you have?**

University degree in Engineering, preferably master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

Project Management competences.

Knowledge of CAD systems and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of air compressors or related equipment like engines is a plus.

Good command of English.

Good command of Italian.

**What will you deal with in this role?**

Support analysis of the market and the possible technical solutions together with Product Managers. Preparing the project planning and defining the specification together with product marketing.

Defining the best technical solution, making concept design and following up detailed design with our internal supplier.

Following up purchase of prototype part, building of prototypes, testing with the labo and respective departments. Making test report and qualifying the prototype.

Running pilot batch in production

Releasing final documentation and bills of material. Releasing customer documentation like manuals and spare parts lists.

Following up the product after introduction together with aftersales.

Giving training and support to marketing and aftersales to promote cast iron piston products.

Keeping overview, timing, budget and sales return controls for the cast iron piston projects.
