Posting Date: 28 Feb 2024- City: Genova- Location: Genova, IT, 16129- Contract Type: Permanent- Division: Green Energy Solutions- Level of experience: Entry LevelRINA is currently recruiting for a **Energy Research & Innovation Junior Project Manager** to join its office in **Genoa, Italy** within the Green Energy Solutions Division.

**Mission**:
This role focuses on the project management of international R&D projects, focused on renewables energy, smart energy systems and smart power grid management, building energy management systems and all related to the electrical grid.

**Responsibilities**:
The new resource will be part of the team Energy Innovation Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. They will:

- Manage or support the management of EU R&D projects, in the field of renewable energy and its integration at both building, industrial and grid sectors, power grid development, system flexibility and decarbonization & energy transition
- Contribute to RINA’s activities of technical development, in the framework of EU R&D funded projects also interacting with international partners
- Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects involving renewable energy technologies, power grid management and the smart grid energy efficiency
- Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
- Contribute to the growth of RINA’s network of R&D partners in the field of power generation and distribution

**Skills and Education**:

- Degree in electric/energy/mechanical engineering with a focus on electrical grid, renewable energy technologies, smart grids, energy efficiency
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Excellent reporting skills, both verbal and written
- Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
- Good attitude to teamwork
- Open-minded to innovation and creativity and a good attitude to networking
