For our HQ in Milan, we are looking for a **Supply Chain & Operations Manager**.
**_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:_**
Production Planning:
- Monitor production progress, in order to maximize product availability
- Ensure that all the production orders are timely manner launched and monitor the production progress through regular follow ups with all the involved counterparts
- Check the availability of raw material and the real production capacity
- Guide vendor allocation to maximize product availability in line with business requirements
Production Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance of the production line
- Provide updates and reporting to management
- Guarantee a timely product delivery, compare both quality and internal/external costs to be aware of differences between various suppliers and internal sites, evaluate production launch according to the requests of the commercial network, with a customer centric approach
Strategic support:
- Be a key partner for the definition of the Supply Chain strategy, supporting the Operations Director
- Act as the main point of contact for Commercial and Customer Service Department, concerning delivery dates and taking corrective actions when needed
- Promote process improvements, in collaboration with other Corporate functions involved (Operations and Supply Chain, Product Development, Technical Office, Logistics, Quality, Finance, Commercial, Marketing)
Additional tasks:
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned
- Perform data entry in the system, ensuring a high data quality and maintenance in the system
**_PROFILE:_**
- 2-5 years of experience in similar role
- Educated at degree level (Engineering, Economics, Management or related field)
- Excellent knowledge of main tools (Advanced Excel, Power Point and SAP; PLM represents a plus)
- Strong relational skills: looking for someone able to adjust the communication style according to the counterpart, a team player who can collaborate with cross-functional & multi-cultural teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Process and continuous improvement mindset, ability to work in a fast paced and fast growing environment
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, effectively manage own time, take autonomous decisions when needed
- Proactivity and problem solving attitude
