Napoli areaThe selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for the activities related to R&D, test, analysis andcharacterization of materials, Verify & Validation development processes of new materials, definition of technical specifications of special treatments, failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or NC components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppply Chain etc) and directly interfacing with suppliers.In detail the activities to be performed will include the following:

- Materials/Mechanical/Aeronautic Master Degree or similar background;
- Broad knowledge about different materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric etc) and experience on characterization tests (any knowledge of Aerospace high temperature resistant materials and material testing methodologies will be advantageous);
- laboratory operations experience (knowledge of procedures, regulations, equipments etc; any knowledge of special processes and non-destructive test methodologies will be advantageos);
- Knowledge about Additive Manufacturing processes advantageous but not mandatory
- Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
