The resource will be part of a very dynamic environment that manages our core procurement category both at the national and international levels. He/She will be asked to support the procurement team on different initiatives and special projects, with a truly strategic perspective.The Global Direct Procurement Specialist will be accountable for:
- End-to-end governance of strategic suppliers, monitoring performance and contract execution
- Contributing to the identification and development of savings opportunities, ensuring the implementation of effective savings strategies and achieving of Company targets
- Category Procurement Management - full governance of the category with focus to performance monitoring, strategy definition and implementation (including scouting, negotiation and contract definition).
- Sourcing strategy implementation across all markets and together with local teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for direct procurement in cross-functional projects, actively engaging in supporting marketing and sustainability initiatives. Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders throughout the global network to ensure coordination and successful outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness
**What you'll need**
- Have a background in Economics, Management, Management Engineering, or similar
- Speak English fluently and would like to work with multicultural teams
- Possess strong analytical acumen and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Have a natural inclination to be organized and responsive to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner
- Positive attitude to work in cross functional team helping to build a collaborative workplace
- Max 4 years of experience in direct procurement or strategic sourcing roles, preferably in a global or multinational company.
