Atlante hseq Manager

An experienced professional with proven track-record in the relevant fields, as HSEQ Manager at Atlante you will look after the most important aspects of the Atlante:
the health and safety of our employees and customers; the integrity of the environment we so much want to protect; the quality of the processes and services we offer to our stakeholders.

Task and duties
- Set up a full HSEQ framework (policies, processes, procedures etc) to ensure that the Atlante compliance with statutory requirements, contractual requirements and good industry practice. The framework will be based upon NHOA’s own HSEQ policies (which will be either implemented as such or adapted to better suit Atlante’s business model).
- Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the HSEQ performance of the Atlante, delivering oversight and assurance to managers of their risks, recommending and implementing solutions to improve the level of compliance and regulatory risk control and ensuring any breaches are addressed.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for HSEQ matters. Work proactively to constantly improve the culture of “zero risks / zero tolerance” on HSEQ matters.
- Analyse the internal and external context of Atlante with the aim of building the Integrated Management System of the Atlante and to certifying it according to standards ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, ISO 45001:
2018.
- Define and draft procedures, instructions, templates, registers to be updated or issued in order to ensure an effective supervision and control of all the processes.
- Design new processes needed in close cooperation with managers of other relevant departments, always checking the feasibility of the proposed solutions with all the functions directly involvedin their implementation.
- Develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement.
- Conduct audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements.
- Take an active part in preparing and managing internal and certification audits.
- Report on Atlante’s HSEQ performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as/when required.
- Maintain awareness of evolving industry HSEQ regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to the Atlante’s operations.
- Support production of construction phase plans, traffic management plans, safe systems of work and associated construction related risk management documentation.
- Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate and provide competent advice and recommendations.
- Support the implementation, design and development of risk management processes.

Qualification and experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in HSEQ (real estate or distributed energy fields preferred); previous experience of electric mobility or even better EV charging infrastructure would be a major plus;
- Previous experience in a “customer facing” business is a must;
- Previous management of relations with public administration preferred;
- Technical master’s degree preferred;
- Ability to work with all levels of management;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to understand context overall picture;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Good initiative and proactivity;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (knowledge of other languages would be a plus);
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
