MISSION

We are loooking for a Service Operations Manager, responsible for the management of a team composed from 6 people service technicians. The role will be based in the Italian customer center, but including several travels around Italy. We are looking for strong technical experience, industry exposure, strong leadership skills and high computer literacy preferably with a working experience of SAP. Focused on service deliver and customer satisfaction, your positive attitude will be the key driver to achieving excellence in our service delivery.

ACTIVITIES:

- To coordinate her/his job with weekly contact with the South West Europe BLM, located in France;
- Shared and promote all the common activities based on the experience of the others operational managers in South West Europe, France, Spain and Nordic.
- To manage service operations local team;
- Organize, supervise and maintain discipline over all workshop activities and ensure good housekeeping throughout the workshop and its vicinity.
- Provide platform to ensure that all Field service engineers complies the health & safety protocols when working at site and that they are all provided with the right tools.
- Responsible for the establishment and implementation of all quality procedures related to service operation.
- Administrate, monitor and control Work-In-Progress (WIP) to a minimum and ensure the timely and proper close-out of all service jobs.
- Ensure that all Field Service Engineers are able to attend mandatory trainings for them to acquire the needed technical and product competencies.
- To ensure also that all technicians must have the proper training and competencies enabling them to properly plan work schedules & efficiently execute administrative jobs.
- Resolve customer disputes with regards to all service deliverables and their performance
- Evaluate customer feedback and take corrective actions as required.
- To have weekly contact with headquarter to implement the new apps or software absolutely necessary for her/him and all his/her technicians.
- To promote and follow up all maintenance contracts/POM, etc

FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Diploma or Degree in industrial engineering disciplines, electrical and mechanical engineering;
- Previous experience in Service planner or Maintenance manager
- Strong technical profile
- Good communicator;
- English language is a must;
- Computer skills : a plus the knowledge of SAP and its modules; as standard, windows, MS office package
- Able to travel in Italy and every quarter in France for some specific trainings;

- Collaborative : needed to be integrated in a team of 6 people and daily collaborating with PROJECT and SALES team;
- Entrepreunarial : need a good plan for resources to be implement in each job/different customer;
- Resourceful : the "communication" and "the way to offer service as a plus in customer mind" must be his/her base
