This is a unique opportunity for a talented Finance and Strategy Professional to play a pivotal role in a leading European Insurtech. We now serve almost 3 million clients in Italy and recently launched our International expansion, with fully operational offices in London, Milan, Rome and Madrid. Our continued focus on cutting-edge tech and analytics coupled with superb user experience attracted a € 100 million investment from Goldman Sachs and Blackstone in 2018.

We are looking for a talented Accounting Expert who will report to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, in the CFO area, and will join the Financial Reporting Team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparing the consolidated financial statements of the Group according to IAS/IFRS
- Reviewing Group monthly reporting with the support of our Group ERP (Oracle Netsuite), ensuring correctness and reliability of accounting data
- Ensuring adherence with transfer pricing policies and requirements (e.g. prepare intercompany recharges and review mandatory tax forms prepared by Group consultants)
- Coordinating and coaching more junior colleagues, e.g. in preparing intercompany reconciliations and managing intercompany transactions
- Supporting the Corporate Finance team in the budgeting process (e.g. calculation of IFRS adjustments & other accounting impacts)
- Supporting external auditors in their audit activities
- Acting as point of contact with the management and with external advisors for matters related to accounting matters

**Requirements**:

- Outstanding academic background in Accounting or Business studies
- Previous experiences (at least 4 years) in Big 4 audit firms or in accounting departments of fast-growing companies
- Solid background in international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS)
- Positive mind-set, pragmatic attitude, ownership mentality and a "can do" attitude
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Analytical skills, precision and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Willing to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In addition to the basic requirements, we will appreciate these characteristics:

- Certified public accountant (CPA) or statutory auditor
- Sound understanding of tax matters
- Passion for a diverse international environment
