**Marelli Aftermarket is looking for a Tax Manager will help finance and the business in designing and implementing tax policies and strategies and evaluate managerial processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role also requires tax planning and reporting, including the filing of direct and indirect tax returns, review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and coordinate the correct execution of tax obligations supporting the CFO in defining and implementing tax planning strategy
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of local indirect and direct tax returns and other business related filings for the legal entities
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws; maintain effective procedures over all aspects of the tax processes
- Constantly update on law changes; monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the finance team
- support local controllers in the finalization of month/year-end accounts defining main fiscal aspect for financial statements
- Manage relation with tax advisors and HQ tax department for any topic
- Manage Transfer Pricing Policies, in accordance with Group policies and local laws setting up and coordinating structured operations and drive specific audits also form Tax authorities
- Interface with external authorities and manage tax audits
- Identify the opportunities for tax optimization linked to business choices and ensure fulfilment of legislative obligations concerning direct and indirect taxes

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Extensive knowledge of tax laws, accounting and accounting principles and audit management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with relevant accounting software

**Preferred skills and qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or related field
- Proven track record as a tax specialist or analyst
- Experience in managing extensive volumes of accounting paperwork for a corporation or large organization
