Who we are looking for

Purpose

The Air & Care Communication Manager will provide strategic partnership and advice on external communications to the Air and Care Commercial areas, including special care and over the counter brands.

Main Responsibilities

Partner closely with key stakeholders of the Chiesi Air & Care Commercial organization, R&D and Sustainability (both HQ and Affiliates) to understand their strategic plan, priorities and needs.

Lead the development and delivery of an annual global communication master plan that outlines the “priority one” campaigns/projects that supports the Air & Care areas in alignment with the overall Global Communications strategy. Dedicated focus in maximizing the efforts of Public Affairs and aligning marketing campaigns with the Global Corporate Narrative and visual identity.

Development of digital multichannel communication strategies and campaigns and storytelling connected and aligned with the global strategic approach in order to target the right audiences, maximize reach and grow communities and increase engagement rates

Measure effectiveness and report back on levels of engagement and understanding of communications

Proactively suggest areas/topics/opportunities for communication to support the overall business strategy/requirements

Support the relevant Leadership Team members and other key stakeholders in raising their profile externally both as leaders and as experts in their chosen field (thought leadership).

Timely deliver the external Communication related to rare M&A/relevant partnerships or crisis, in seamless cooperation with Internal Communication, Crisis & Events team.

Work cooperatively with other team members (both peers and other GC&ER teams) to ensure a smooth communication flow within the whole GC&ER function; promptly share information which may impact other roles in the own Function and cooperate with others to execute communication plans and (ex. Digital internal channels, Press office, Web & Social).

Contribute to the identification of Agencies supporting external communication activities and nurture the relationships. Provide timely inputs to Procurement, Administration and GC&ER Executive Assistant to fulfill contractual obligations.

Contribute, participate and lead cross-functional global projects

Experience Required

At least 5 years of experience in the field of Corporate Communication or Marketing (with focus on external communication / therapeutical area communication) in multinational companies.

Education

Degree in Communication or in Social or Political Sciences, Economics(or others) with a specialization in Communication.

Languages

Fluent English, Italian will be considered a plus.

Technical Skills

Ability to deploy successful communication plans across media channels, understanding of sustainability themes, sound industry market knowledge as well as familiarity with marketing principles.
