**Job Description Summary**: Aero CSA Risk finance INTERNSHIP

The risk finance function works to quantify and mitigate risks and financial impact in our multi-year agreement CSA portfolio. Key areas of focus for the function are: escalation impact, productivity, contract renegotiations, technical and unplanned risk, cost tracking.

The risk finance intern will directly report to the Aero risk finance global leader. As such, he/she will be focused on regional tasks, as well as global projects.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The role requires a proactive and fast learning approach. Curiosity and flexibility to cover complex processes are critical skills. You will have exposure to senior leadership and operational teams and be accountable to act autonomously on your own workstream. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and strong problem-solving skills are a must.
- Work as functional owner of ConFIRM (cost bucketization and tracking tool): monitor timely and high quality bucketization, feedback gathering and data analysis
- Work as functional owner of Next Gen tool (escalation tool): monitor timely data gathering and escalation approval, perform portfolio level analysis
- Drive data gathering and preparation for Portfolio Health and High-Risk Reviews
- Support continuous monitoring of high-risk areas - Utilization: continuous / recurring monitoring of fleet operational profile
- Support continuous monitoring of high-risk areas - Deferred balance: perform Deferred Balance reconciliation at quarter end by analyzing sales, billing, and cumulative margin adjustments at contract level
- Support team to drive key projects such as: service bulletin implementation, tracking and accounting treatment, unplanned / extra work cost and billing tracking
- Work on calculation and refresh of long-term services agreement portfolio KPIs

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- BA/MSc in Economics, Business Administration, Finance (or equivalent knowledge or experience)
- MS Office Excel and PowerPoint working knowledge
- English mandatory, Italian is a plus
- EU Work Permit is essential
- Preferred: 2nd year University Master of Science (MSc) students (Economics, Quantitative, Finance, Accounting degrees (or equivalent knowledge or experience),
ready to graduate no later than July 2024.
- Very recent graduates (consider max 2 or 3 months)
- WORK STYLE: mainly office work (Via Galeno 36; Milan) with flexibility of remote
- Internship duration: min. 6 months (with opportunity for a prolongation of further 6 months)
- Full time work preferred:40 hours/week (with some flexibility related to study/exam commitments)
- Start date: 1st September 2023
