**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
We are looking for **Flag Manager.**

The resource, who will fit into our IOC/IPC RELATIONS & PROTOCOL function, will be responsible for:

- Identify and define all flag needs in competitive and non-competitive venues in light of the needs expressed in the IOC manuals.
- Verify the participations of NOCs/NPCs to the Olympic competition, in collaboration with NCS, to foresee the correct quantities and types of flags for the various competitive venues.
- Coordinate dimensions, connections, and positioning of flags with VNI and OLV/PLV to provide flags of appropriate formats for the available spaces.
- Plan and coordinate distribution, storage, and installation of all flags at all competitive and non-competitive Olympic and Paralympic sites.
- Draw up the Flag Manual of the Games and any other documents required by the function.
- Coordinate all activities related to the obtaining, endorsement, and distribution of the National Anthems to the SPP.
- Coordinate all activities related to the planning and management of National Flags and Anthems.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is a plus);
- At least 5 years of work experience in events (having managed large quantity of flags is a plus);
- Ability to plan different types of products and their distribution;
- Ability to manage people in planning and operations, as well as in solving critical issues;
- Previous experience in event management and/or material distribution;
- English Level C2 + a knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
