**CAPOTURNO - TERMOVALORIZZATORE**

FRAG srl is looking for a Shift Manager for activities related to the operation and maintenance of a Waste to Energy Plant.

He/she will work on shifts and will be responsible for supervising all activities directed to the operation of the plant, following company procedures.

The selected figure will be the point of reference for all other operators in the absence of the Shift Manager Coordinator, Provisional Operation Manager and/or Commissioning Manager.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Monitor proper operation of all plant sections using information reported by outside operators and panelist
- Manage personnel on shift, coordinating the activities of assigned technicians
- Verify that management procedures are appropriate for the plant type and propose any changes in order to optimize the management of various activities
- Manage and coordinate operations related to plant operation, taking into account any unforeseen contingencies
- Evaluate the conditions for performing the required work and implement the necessary measures to take the plant out of service and into safety
- Monitor the operating parameters of the plant, including checking the availability of chemicals and utilities
- Issue Work Permits in accordance with procedures
- During maintenance activities, be responsible for safely handing over machines to maintenance and putting them back into service
- Organizing and monitoring work based on company quality and safety standards
- Checking technical documentation
- Filling out the plant book correctly
- Checking proper use of PPE by personnel on shift
- Check the condition of equipment and report any defects
- Check that atmospheric emission values comply with the permits issued by the various authorities

**Requirements**:

- Diploma with a technical background
- At least 3 years' experience as a shift leader
- 1st degree qualification to operate steam generators
- Previous experience at waste-to-energy plants or thermal power plants
- Previous experience in maintenance of water, thermal, industrial boiler plants
- Knowledge of the main components found in a thermal power plant: boiler, heat exchangers, pumps, steam turbine
- Ability to read P&IDs
- On-call availability during maintenance activities required
- Availability to work shifts and holidays
