The Groups and Events Agent is responsible for the accurate recording and processing of reservations as well as the maximization of room sales through pro-active selling and up-selling techniques.

**What will I be doing?**

As Groups and Events Agent, you will maximise revenue opportunities for Group bookings by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The Groups and Events Agent will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a Groups and Events Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Complete Hilton University courses and pass the tests.
- Good Knowledge of hotel product and activities.
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
- Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all group bookings.
- Check arrival guests or groups daily, making sure the guest information, requirements and price information is correct.
- Always maintain a sales attitude, not losing any sales opportunity in the hotel.
- Make sure all commissions are correct and followed-up on promptly.
- Make sure all reject business is filed with the reasons.
- Comply to the hotel credit policy and make sure all forecast revenues are met.
- Ensure all information input is correct.
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas at all times.
- Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the hotel.
- Strictly follow brand standards
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**What are we looking for?**

A Groups and Events Agent serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- Good organizational and administration skills

- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Confident telephone manner
- High level of IT skills
- Excellent grooming standards
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Italian to meet business needs.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Demonstrated previous experience working within Groups or Reservations
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems(Opera PMS would be a plus)
