**Job Description Summary**: As part of the Military Systems Engineering team the Military Engine Demo Instrumentation Owner will lead overall instrumentation definition and integration across engine system and modules, including management of design and manufacturing program requirements and demonstration schedule. He/She will be the connection and interface among Engineering, Supply Chain, Systems and Testing team

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Lead instrumentation definition for each subsystem
- Support test scheduling milestones, funding
- Lead instrumentation risk assessment
- Negotiate with HDE and TVME the HW rework for instrumentation
- Lead routing definition
- Coordinate instrumented part perfection rev.
- Act as prime point of contact for instrumentation integration activities with external partners
- Support the definition of overall program plans into requirements and milestones for the design and procurement of assigned hardware.
- Serves as design team representative for Tollgate and Technical reviews for assigned hardware
- Work with a variety of engineering organizations and contribute to the development of the engine systems and designs.
- Be responsible for monitoring and communicating project status to Engineering leadership. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews
- Issue the technical documents relative to the components design according to engineering and program policies and procedures
- Support source technological substantiation and non-conformances assessments

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
- At least 5 years of experience in design and analysis engineering position
- Robust knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations
- Have strong engineering outlook, hands-on engineering foundation and eager to learn
- Clear thinking and diligent approach
- English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, and Italian citizenship are required
