We’re recruiting for a growth focused **Consultant** with proven seller-doer consulting experience in the domain of ESG and Sustainability to join our Sustainability, Assessment & Assurance team in Italy based in Milan or in one of the other Italian Offices.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a significant role to achieve growth as a seller doer, deliver of projects, ensure service excellence for clients and play an important role in development of others within the team. We help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment and progress towards authentic sustainability.

You will get the opportunity to win, lead and develop our work on a wide range of sustainability services primarily focused on Sustainability report assurance, ESG and sustainable finance, supply chain sustainability, sustainability strategy and climate change consulting.

When doing this, you will get the opportunity to engage with many of the leading companies and brands across a wide range of sectors and to leverage a suite of services and digital technologies to scope sell and deliver innovative solutions.

You will be expected to contribute to the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of sustainability services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:

- Sustainability Report Assurance.
- ESG, green bonds & sustainable finance consulting.
- Digital Assurance including digitally enabled supply chain solutions for transparency, track and trace.
- Supply chain sustainability & risk management.
- Climate change, GHG and decarbonisation topics.
- Sustainability strategy, SDGs mapping.

You will be expected to support in issue proposals, win projects and be part of project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:

- Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients.
- Participating in projects, collaborating to ensure they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards.
- Supporting and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients.
- Introducing services from your own/ existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients.
- Collaborate in writing thought leadership for the team to be published internally and externally to generate the correct profile and market engagement in Italy.

The role includes typical back-office tasks in support to project management such as regular updating and control of datasets with information submitted from internal and external parties; collection, technical review and approval of audit results and reports; monitoring of performance indicators, customer requirements, planning and deadlines; preparation of internal quality and performance reports for direct and top management.

Position Qualifications:

- Proven track record in sales and business development of ESG & Sustainability services, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Proven track record of delivering consulting services as a trusted advisor and thought leader in their domain of ESG/ SDGs sustainability.
- Proven team leader, delivering service excellence.
- Willingness to travel and work around Italy and the South Europe region and on occasions overseas.
- Fluency in English and Italian is a prerequisite.
