Summary

**Job Description**:
Within the team, the Demand & Distribution Planner will monitor the status of the production deliveries and shipment distribution to stores and customers in order to underline possible issues and give an updated situation to Merchandising, Finance and Logistic. He/she will support all forecasting activities providing data analysis and maintaining relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process.

Basic Functions:

- Analyze the stock in the warehouse to maximize the rotation and support the stock transfer and replenishment decisions to maximize sales potential
- Support to the daily stock allocation processes - interacting with production teams, cs and logistics
- Guarantee on-time delivery and availability of goods in the overall distribution chain, from supplier to stores - detecting potential issues and proactively act
- Define allocation at category level by channel, region, store, outlet, season
- Define the rules and the follow-up for the automatic pull replenishment
- Ensure higher level of product availability especially in peak periods
- In charge for the data analysis related to logistics, monitor weekly/monthly KPIs and support to develop action plans and recommendations for improvement
- Collect, analyze and validate the data; define forecast of the production volumes, mutualizing and validating needs coming from other dept - recommending adjustments when needed
- Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool. Enter, modify data and ensure the overall reliability
- Prepare reports and forecast models, performance and seasonality analysis, facilitate the collection of information and monitor sales trends and opportunities, providing support to other SC functions when required

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or similar
- 1-2 year of experience in Planning/Forecasting role
- Experience in fashion industry and business statistics will be a plus
- Attitude to work on different tech systems, curious to understand processes and data
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; attention to details and passion for numbers
- Ability to work with a consistent amount of data in a meaningful manner
- Excellent knowledge of Excel - powerBi will be a plus
- Proactivity in solving problems
- Flexible, open minded, organized and target oriented team player
- Able to manage the assigned tasks with great accuracy, set priorities and optimize the time
- Basic Knowledge of ERP (Stealth) is highly appreciated

Fluent in English (further languages are a plus)
