Tax Risk Specialist

Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within the CFO area we are looking for a Tax Risk Specialist to report directly to the Tax Risk Manager in the overall management of the Tax Control Framework and the Cooperative Compliance programme,
- Definition and updating of internal methodologies
- Constant maintenance of the tax Risk & Control Matrix
- Coordination and alignment of Italian tax risk management activities with similar foreign activities in the implementation phase
- Risk assessment activities
- Tax audit and test activities (TOD e TOE)
- Reporting activities
- Regulation related activities: analysis of new Italian and foreign regulations in order to prepare constant updates regarding the CFO Area
- Collaboration with Group Financial Reporting Risk, Data Quality and Operational Risk teams

Must have
- Degree in Economics or Law
- 5+ years of experience in the specific field of international taxation, preferably in a “Big Four” or multinational group
- Fluent in english
- Familiarity with regulatory analysis and leading practices in the areas: tax, risk management, governance and internal control
- Knowledge of risk analysis and assessment techniques with economic / financial and reputational impact
- Ability to study, interpret and disseminate tax legislation in order to assess the impacts on the Generali Group and propose interventions and changes to the TCF model
- Knowledge of the principles of business economics and finance and of risk analysis and assessment
- Project management, teamworking and intercultural sensitivity skills gained in the management of complex change projects
- Strong skills in analyzing and synthesizing information and communicating it
