The role will be in our growing Energy Networks business to support our technical delivery teams across a range of projects, varying in scale and complexity in the Energy Sector.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Document Controller with the willingness to learn all aspects of document management and potentially get involved in other project admin support.
You will manage the flow of incoming and outgoing information on construction related projects and provide ad hoc support to the project controls team for change management. You will be required to work independently using web-based document management platforms, maintaining accurate records, and using template document controls on small-medium projects; training and supervision provided. You will have an eye for detail and be able to follow tasks through to completion.
As an experienced Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining and control of all project documentation from the project team and associates. Experience using SharePoint is necessary and experience using ProjectWise a distinct will be an advantage.
This is a key role and it’s vital in ensuring that the team is using the latest versions of all documents to enable our work to be accurate, consistent and delivered on time to our client.
The key requirements of this role include:

- Managing and maintaining reports and registers
- Maintaining filing systems and record keeping of delivery dockets
- Recording, checking and tracking all incoming and outgoing project documents
- Ensuring all management system documentation is the current version and easily accessible
- As an experienced Administrator or Document Controller, you have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure while demonstrating a flexible approach to work. Your time management skills are effective, and you enjoy working in a team environment while using your initiative and taking a methodical approach to tasks. You are comfortable working within an office environment and are able to foster and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external contacts. You are a friendly and outgoing individual and are approachable for administration and support.
What you will bring to the team:

- Great overall administration skills including strong computer literacy and highly competent in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
- Experience in Document Control, Records Management, or Quality Management
- Proficiency with Sharepoint
- Previous work with ProjectWise (or other EDMS systems)
- Educated to tertiary level or equivalent relevant experience in lieu
- Good interpersonal skills and confident communication
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivation, ability to use own initiative to organise and prioritise tasks
