**_ Job Purpose:_**

The Pharma Commercial HRBP will partner with the business to adapt and effectively execute the people plan, leveraging their local context and expertise, to ensure the effective deployment of the GSK HR strategy in the country or cluster.

The role will support Pharma Commercial or Pharma aligned “One Pharma” populations within a market or cluster, as a trusted partner to business leaders to drive impact in talent, leadership, culture and capability. The role is agile and flexible to support peaks in demand, project or initiatives.

The role will support VP and Director level within Pharma Commercial and have a good awareness of the strategic priorities and alignment of operational activity.

**_ In this role, you will_**
- Be a trusted and agile HR partner to leaders to drive Pharma Commercial’s people agenda and deliver against IPTc priorities. Maintain a strong understanding of the Pharma Commercial business, IPTc strategy and GSK in the context of HR activity to improve business performance.
- Coach and develop line managers in the delivery of key HR activities, holding leaders accountable for employee’s experience by partnering together to deliver against moments that matter. Provide input, constructive feedback, and healthy challenge in a way that builds trust and enables the team and individuals to be most effective in their roles.
- Develop pragmatic solutions to complex, escalated queries by interpreting local legislation, HR policies, processes and ways of working and mitigating risk.
- Lead initiatives that enable the organisation to have the best leaders at all levels, with the right capabilities to motivate, focus, develop and care for the people and a culture of purpose and performance.
- Coach hand challenge leaders to increase diversity through talent management and recruitment, identifying opportunities to bring through / bring in diverse talent and challenging bias within talent activities.
- Use digital, data and analytics tools and processes to gain forward looking digital insights to diagnose issues, inform execution of the people strategy and drive best in class leadership and organisation effectiveness.
- Ensure HR risks are mitigated, company reputation is protected and related financial, legal and policy duties are carried out. Manage escalations and support the business to create a positive employee environment. Partner with the ERC to resolve high risk ER issues and implement strategies to reduce such issues.
- Partner with colleagues across OneHR to bring the new HR model to life with a patient first mindset. Be disciplined in reducing customisation and champion our investment in new technology, regional hubs, standardised tools and processes within HR and with the business.

**_ Scope of Accountability _**
- Supports a headcount between 100 - 350
- Supports a business unit revenue of between 150 million and 250 million GBP

- Experience of participating and influencing HR teams in order to raise standards within the function and improve the collective profile of HR within the business Experience working in a highly complex organisation within a matrixed structure, leveraging influence within a complex network of stakeholders
- Experience in leading OD/change programmes that enhance organisational capability, culture and performance
- Experience translating business objectives into HR solutions through appropriately setting direction, objectives, targets and metrics - delivering against demanding targets and meeting criteria of time, cost, quality and performance.
- Generalist, with functional expertise in at least one area (ER, IR, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management, HR Operational Implementation Systems and Processes, Organisational development or design)
