**EHS Data Analyst - Internship**

This position reports to EHS Manager and is based in Pomezia Santa Palomba (Rome).

**What you will do**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Excellence team for a 6-month internship. This position will report directly to the Pomezia EHS Site Lead for the EMEA Region and will focus on performance management, analytics, and reporting with a strong emphasis on automation. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful field.

Key Responsibilities

**1.** **Performance Management**:

- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting EHS performance data across the EMEA region.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual EHS performance reports.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of performance improvement initiatives.

**2.** **Analytics and Reporting**:

- Conduct data analysis to support EHS initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to visualize EHS performance metrics.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data reporting across the region.
- Support data validation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of EHS data.

**3.** **Automation**:

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities to automate data reporting processes.
- Collaborate with analytic team and other departments to implement automation solutions.
- Develop and implement automated reporting templates to streamline EHS reporting.

**4.** **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Support the region in staying abreast of emerging regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.

**5.** **Additional Responsibilities**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in EHS performance management and analytics.
- Conduct research and analysis on EHS best practices and industry trends.
- Provide administrative support to the EHS Excellence team as needed.

Qualifications

**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with automation tools or programming languages is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
