Local Unit & Position Description:
**Competence Officer** is responsible for supporting the Qualification process at local level and for supervising the management and implementation of the technical training sessions throughout the assigned territory (Italy), both for Business Assurance and SCPA divisions.

Position Qualifications:
**The major areas of responsibility are**:

- Supporting the Capacity Building process for all value streams by providing the necessary review and assess of Competence Profiles to achieve defined targets
- Responsible to support in the definition of Qualification Plan requirements and support Execution of Qualification Plan
- Responsible for supporting CV analysis
- Ensure that local qualification and competence data is maintained according to applicable certification schemes requirements (including memberships) and preserving qualifications continuity for all resources (Internal and External Personnel)
- Plan and implement all technical training, (mandatory training imposed by the Accreditation Standards, calibration sessions for CPD purposes, etc.), for internal and external resources of the assigned territory (full for BA, limited to accredited scheme for SCPA)
- Cooperate with Sales Departments with reference to issues related to incoming tenders/bids/sales proposal, supplying best team and relevant qualification information
- Responsible to support in the management of the local financial budget for technical training and qualification memberships, with accountability on return of investment and profitability

The Italy Competence Officer reports to the Competence Manager and works in a team.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent Italian
- Good knowledge of English language (both verbal and written)
- Good command of MS Office suite
- Multi-tasking attitude
- Problem-solving mindset
- Very good communication skills
- Team player attitude with positive mindset
- Ability to work flexibly, independently, result-oriented, and self-organized
- Result-oriented: responsible for professional and consistent deliveries throughout the assigned tasks
- Willingness to learn and always develop competence and skills
