Controllership Analyst

**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

We're seeking an intern to work in our Finance Department, providing support to both Controllership and Sourcing Finance team. In this position, the intern will gain exposure to account payables and sourcing processes.

Additionally, the intern will have exposure to the Financial Management Program of GE Aerospace, become part of the finance function, and have the opportunity to interact with colleagues within a dynamic and evolving environment.

**Essentials Responsibilities**
- Define and analyse the value stream map for account payables process.
- Sustain the implementation of an account payables Dashboard to monitor booking and payments activities.
- Develop and consolidate best practices and standardize work processes to increase booking and payments performances.
- Utilize office tools (Excel) for Data analysis (e.g. Account payable report), KPI’s report updating and SAP Query used for Display balance sheet accounts in AP area (e.g. Aging report) and Purchase order visualization.
- Work in a cross-functional team (Controllership, Global Supply Chain Finance, Buy to Pay and Sourcing).
- Support the Account Payables analytics and metric reporting.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or Bachelor in Engineering
- English fluency, written and verbal.
- EU work permit is essential
- Open to work with different cultures

**Desired Characteristics**
- Master Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting or Master in Engineering
- Italian fluency, written and verbal
- MS Office knowledge, especially Excel.
