**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- 2-4 years of experience Supply, Logistics, Asset Management or Supply Chain Management.

**Duties/role**:

- Working with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations;
- Maintaining item and inventory management records;
- Helping minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs;
- Using real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed;
- Assisting in resolving issues related to physical space management;
- Performing the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location;
- Producing basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances;
- Tracking inventory information for a specific product group or location;
- Working with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location;
- Following processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies;
- Using tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance;
- Working with logistics in a domestic environment;
- Maintaining records of all shipments and invoices using an established system;
- Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity;
- Recognizing software systems or components used to manage supply chain;
- Participating in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities;
- Discussing considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions;
- Summarizing supply chain considerations for different types of products;
- Working with a specific part of supply chain management process;
- Analyzing and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area;
- Assisting in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution center;
- Collecting and translating the business requirements for specifications of warehouse management systems;
- Performing basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise;
- Maintaining warehouse equipment and facilities on a regular basis.
