**Primary Purpose**:
To perform inspections of CCEC’s OH facilities and Underground Facilities as required by OPUC to ensure they meet NESC Code.
**Essential Job Functions (Reason position exists is to perform these functions)**:

1. Ensure NESC Code is met for CCEC and attachees to its poles through Line Patrols.
2. Ensure Primary UG facilities meet NESC Code requirements through Line Patrol.
3. Perform annual safety inspection for one-half of CCEC’s overhead facilities to meet OPUC requirements.
4. Perform annual inspections of CCEC transmission lines.
5. Collect GPS Coordinates as needed for CCEC plant.
6. Post corrective field GPS data so it is usable data for mapping.
7. Resolve pole ownership, Serial number and Pole Numbering issues in the field as needed for the Mapping Department.
8. Inspect licensee transfers and approve or reject requests for attachment to CCEC poles by third parties.
9. Prepare service orders to correct discovered violations and enforce collection against violating party.
10. Track and manage pole inspection data.
11. Assist in performing Fire Risk analysis of CCEC transmission and distribution facilities.
12. Ability to acquire Drone Pilot License
13. Coordinate with Mapping or Engineering Department to collect information as needed in the field.
14. Work well in a team or crew environment.
15. Ability to communicate, relate and present well to CCEC consumers.

**Work Environment**:
This position is exposed to external weather conditions including rain sleet, snow, etc., as well as varying degrees of cold and hot temperatures. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
**Physical Demands**:
This position requires the ability to stand and walk during most of the workday and climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Will be required to walk on uneven terrain and drive company vehicles daily.
**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**:
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative operates on a four/ten work schedule.
**Travel**:
Ability to travel to the different district offices required. Occasional travel to training seminars and/or conferences.
**Qualifications**:
1. Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
2. Minimum five years of related professional experience required.
3. Rural electric cooperative experience preferred.
4. Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurability.
**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**:
1. Strong MS Office Suite skills.
2. Advanced knowledge of NESC preferred.
3. Reliable transportation for getting to work.
4. Must meet the requirements of pre-employment drug screening and comply with company drug and alcohol policy while employed.
