**OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - ALESSANDRIA**:

**POSIZIONE**:

**MAIN TASKS**:

- Managing your team and promoting their personal and professional development
- To ensure on your shift that operational activities are carried out and manned (both with direct and indirect staff) in accordance with the expected and promised Service Levels
- Ensure alignment between the different operational shifts by providing an adequate handover
- Provide your manager with clear input on H&S issues, quality and process compliance
- Support your manager in implementing corrective actions to compliance issues
- Ensure that suppliers operating on site comply with shared guidelines

**People Management**:

- Ensure that your team is fully aligned with the Company's guiding principles
- Provide them with Coaching and Feedback for personal and professional development
- Promote the Feedback culture
- Carry out an accurate and timely evaluation of each employee's performance
- Ensure that their Team is adequately trained and updated

**Process**:
**H&S and Quality**
- Ensure that the Team and Partners (transport, handling and maintenance) comply with safety and quality standards, procedures relating to the use of PPE, and take care of the workplace and equipment.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to DHL's Udine management team and our Partners' coordinators on safety, quality and process compliance.

**Operations**
- Support the Terminal Manager to ensure that all branch operations are carried out in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- In accordance with the input and guidelines of the Terminal Manager, interact with DHL staff and our Partners' coordinators to manage any unplanned problems or events related to transportation, material flow, equipment, lack of personnel and influence compliance with the execution of the operational plan. If necessary, promptly report the most critical issues to the Terminal Manager and ensure that decisions are implemented.
- Interfacing with company departments to ensure the correct performance and corrective actions necessary for the operational activity (e.g. staff ops, linehaul)

**Continuous Improvement**
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of company performance by identifying opportunities to improve warehouse operations by supporting the Terminal Manager in the selection of the best ideas and projects to propose.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Degree / Diploma
- 2 years' previous experience in similar roles
- Good Software skills (Microsoft Office package)
- Good English language both written and spoken (intermediate)
