The Visual Agency is a data and information design agency specialized in communicating complexity and visualizing data. We use information design to unlock the story-telling power of data and turn numbers and words into meaningful visualizations, memorable insights and engaging experiences.

We are a growing team of 25 people. Our staff spans information designers, developers, illustrators, consultants and motion-graphers. As Digital Project Manager you will be part of our Digital Design Team in Milan.

We are seeking a passionate Digital Project Manager capable of thoroughly understanding a project's desired outcomes. Taking responsibility for assignments, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting objectives, the Project Manager will confidently address business needs, manage resources, and resolve any issues to successfully navigate and deliver all aspects of the assignment.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables for digital design projects
- Successfully manage multiple suppliers, partners and client/s to ensure optimal outcomes for both clients and The Visual Agency
- Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and define the scope of the projects
- Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, providing updates, and proactively managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholders, partners and vendors keeping them informed of project progress and soliciting feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and resource utilization to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
- Set up and facilitate both internal and client post-project reviews, share learning with relevant parties and implement best practices for future projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to execute project tasks and achieve project goals. Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, to ensure transparency and accountability.

**Who we are looking for**
- At least 3-5 of experience in managing complex design/technology driven projects in a digital agency or graphic design studio
- Proven experience in Digital Project Management
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to discuss with clients regarding merits/drawbacks of projects/work streams being delivered. Must be client facing.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Methodical and pragmatic approach to your own work and the projects you run.
- Strong interest with information design and data visualization
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation and problem solving skills Very good level of both spoken and written English

**Nice to have**
- A deep understanding of digital design principles, including user experience, responsive design, and design systems Possession of project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile/Scrum certifications to demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies and frameworks.
