**Position Title**: Laboratory Technician
Careers that Change Lives
Working as a Laboratory Technician you will carry out tests on incoming materials and along the entire production chain. You will work on the interesting projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Validation of sterilization cycles using the biological indicators
- environmental controls, both microbiological and particle, in controlled environments
- process water controls
- Incoming tests on materials and raw materials
- Test in process on production batches
- Release test on produced batches
**The overview of technology**:
- Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy for determination of aluminum (on process water and on finish product) and sodium potassium calcium and magnesium (in process controls and verification of finish product)
- HPLC (IR/UV) determination of glucose, lactates and acetates in process controls and verification of finish product
- UV/VIS spectrophotometry for integrity test and 5 HMF determination on finish product
- Titrations (instrumental and manual) à chlorides and bicarbonates, calcium and magnesium
- Identification of raw materials with pharmacopoeia assays
- Polarimeter for in process control of glucose
- pH check, conductivity, TOC in process waters and for in process controls
**Qualifications**:
**Must Have**: Minimum Requirements
- Relevant experience working in GMP Environment
- Knowledge and experience with method validation and verification procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
**Nice to Have**:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology
