Agreena is seeking a part-time contractor with strong agricultural knowledge to help carry out farm visits in Bulgaria. As part of ongoing sustainability projects, tracking regenerative agricultural practices in agrifood supply chains.

**Responsibilities**:

- Travelling to farms to record information relating to crop type, tillage type and machinery type.
- Following a simple protocol to document the required type data per field.
- Conducting a question and answer session with the farm manager regarding their management practices and engagement with the Agreena program
- Logging the information for each field on a mobile device using an easy to use app.
- Uploading data daily.

**Requirements**:

- Travel will be required to farms in your assigned region.
- An iPhone/Android phone or tablet to run our farm visit app
- A valid driver’s licence
- Your own car to travel to the assigned location
- Experience working in agriculture to a level where you can reliably and confidently identify major crops and the type and intensity of tillage performed.

**Timeline**:

- This work will take place in November 2023 with opportunities to help us with further visits in the future.

**Salary**:

- Employment is contract based
- Payment will be made per farm visit, each visit takes around 4 hours to complete including some pre and post organisation/communication with the farm manager
- €120 for each farm visit
- Mileage is covered at the current Bulgarian standard government set rate
