Il Ruolo
As a member of the Global Category Management team and reporting to the Head of Appliances Category, she/he will lead and systematically develop the Appliances global product portfolio, uncover customer needs while conducting market segmentation and targeting, and monitors performance by assessing the profitability of existing products. In particular, she/he will have the following responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Identifies need and develops request for market research projects in order to drive market segmentation and targeting Develops product strategies/value propositions/new product concepts and leads new product introductions from idea to launch Increases market intelligence, by understanding market trends, customer needs and competitionManages the product portfolio (on time, and under budget), including product concept and requirements, positioning and story development, marketing material development, training plan development and price recommendationInteracts with worldwide clusters/markets organizations, operational cross-functions (R&D, Manufacturing, quality, Purchasing) and other product categoriesTranslate market needs into a competitive product requirements, ensurescustomer, end-user and market insights are taken into account in product portfolio (ideas, concepts and final product)Manages complexity and product life cycle of portfolioConstantly collects and analyzes performance data (market, profitability and operations)

Ability to manage and prioritize own and team’s work. Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems or opportunities for change.Applies strong influencing skills and undertakes continual adjustments with stakeholders in a persuasive manner, to keep the project on course, by use of positive win/win negotiation.Establishes trust within the team.
I RequisitiAcademic background:
Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing or Engineering Professional experience:
minimum 4 years’ experience in similar role of which at least 2 years in built-in appliances.Demonstrated successful experience in product portfolio managementExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong process orientation related to innovation process and operational development of productsFluent in English (verbally & written)Open to international travel (e.g. 30%)
