Raw Materials Planner

Synthomer S.r.l. is located within the Covestro production hub in the industrial area of Filago._
- The company produces NBR and SBR type synthetic latexes in aqueous emulsion, used in the production of paper, rugs, carpets, non-woven fabrics, rubber items, adhesive tapes, disposable and reusable gloves._

- The Filago site is UNI ISO 9001, UNI ISO 14001, and UNI ISO 45001, and EMAS certified, as well as being WHP accredited._

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, he/she ensures the supply of the raw materials necessary for finished goods production, in compliance with the procedures in force on site and under the conditions defined by the purchasing contracts.

Main Accountabilities:
QHSE:
1. Participate in the reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses or anomalies.

2. Respect and enforce the QSSE rules of the site.

3. Know the Significant Environmental Aspects of his/her sector.

Operational excellence:
5. Ensure the smooth flow of raw materials:
a) Manage raw material and trading supplies.

b) Manage stock/tank level with a constant focus on optimization.

c) Create POs and send them to suppliers.

d) Check PO supplier receipt.

e) Centralize and forward supplier complaints to the Corporate Purchasing Department and record them.

f) Negotiate delivery date changes with suppliers and/or purchasers.

6. Comply with regulatory requirements for maximum on-site storage quantities.

7. Manage master data accuracy for raw material codes. 8. Establish the delivery program of raw materials, according to monthly forecasts, daily consumption, tank capacity constraints and daily load of the logistics staff. 9. Contact the unloading operators for unloading issues. 10. Create and track STO (Internal Stock Transfer Orders) for raw material orders within the Group.

11. Support the Supply Chain Manager in daily production plan management.

12. Work in a dynamic of continuous improvement of the processes related to this job position.

Management & Communication:
13. Provide buyers with quarterly raw material volume forecasts, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.

14. Manage disputes with suppliers, material carriers, and logistics or production department claims regarding raw materials.

15. Participate in the weekly European raw material meeting, in order to confirm the planning or to inform of any changes.

Requirements & Knowledge and skills

Education: High School/University degree.

Minimum 2/3 years of experience in similar position.

Fluent Italian at least C1 level.

Fluent English at least B1 level.

SAP experience preferred.

Must be able to work with people having different personalities and different job functions. Have a flexible and adaptable attitude.

Must be able to meet deadlines and deal with unexpected events.

Good stress management.

Good attention to details.

Strong organizational skills and problem solving, when needed.
