Associate Accountant

Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the Associate Accountant is to work with the Supervisor/Senior Accountant in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments of the relevant clients. S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals. Furthermore, the Associate Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients. Key Responsibility:
Accounting entriesAssures compliance to VAT principlesCalculation of monthly withholding taxPreparation of Tax returnCalculation of Italian Municipal Property taxes (IMU, TASI)Creates queries and reports on Payroll dataPrepares simple financial reports or supports Senior Associate Accountant, Team Leader or Manager in predisposing complex financial reportsEscalates to more senior members of staff relevant queriesSupports and manages clients and internal requests in a timely manner Job specific requirements Intermediate knowledge of English (B1+)Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar OrganizationsExpertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)Knowledge of Profis system is considered a plusHigh School Diploma and/or Degree Economics Works in compliance with the TMF procedures and related standards of workGood client services skills and ability to meet required deadlinesResponsible andorganizedEnsure that all accounting procedures remain in line with applicable law and overall objectivesGood communication skillsKnowledge of Accounting and budget account Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation mattersWorking knowledge and understanding of international financial/capital markets and financial instrumentsWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.);Goals focus (both individual and team goals)Concern for qualityProblem solving attitudeCreating team success - as a memberActs with integrity Upholds the VALUES of the organization in all they doTrustworthy team member who considers those around them Make an impactOur global presence in more than 80 countries allows you to impact how global and diverse clients do business as well as give back to the global communities we operate in Be part of One TMFAt TMF Group, it’s our people who make us who we are.
