Mgr Supply Chain I

Manitowoc, international leader in providing premium lifting solutions with Potain and Grove brands, is looking for a **Supply Chain & Planning Manager **to be based in Italy in the Manitowoc plant in Niella Tanaro.

**Main Responsibilities in this Role**
- Collect order previsions from the EMEA Sales Logistic and Administration department.
- Liaise with procurement professionals to check delivery dates, calculate the plant production capacities.
- Guarantee the procurement of all materials needed to production according to production and delivery programs.
- Manage missing parts in the line production and last minute delays from suppliers. Organize the most efficient material movement from warehouse to production lines.
- Manage suppliers relationship according to Purchasing guidelines and agreements and Engineering Dep. recomandations.
- Cooperate with the other Plants Supply Chain Manager for inter-company projects and materials.
- Manage the inventory performance (stock levels, turns, good issues/receipts, correct material movements in the system) and you are in charge of the follow up and stock control of the Plant.
- Manage and Develop the procurement and logistic team.

**To be successful in this Role**
- General engineer or equal, with 5-10 years management experience in production.
- Good expertise in logistic process and industrial costs.
- Good expertise in internal material transfer.
- Mastery tools and continuous improvment methods.
- Knowledge of an ERP (SAP or equivalent)
- Rigorous with the inventory management and the planning
- Excellent in communication and people management
