The Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is actively working on rationalising and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group. This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilising the overall workforce of the company.

**Instructional Designer / E-learning**:
Within the Training Team and under its governance and methodology, the Junior Instructional Designer facilitates the design, development and adoption of the MSC e-Learning courses, creating engaging and compelling course content. Together with the other members of the Training Team, he/she will manage the MSC e-learning platform, where the trainings are stored and shared with all MSC employees at a global level. He/she also reviews the training material before the publication, using and maintaining customized templates and communicating with the dedicated training team in Geneva and Chennai, on a daily basis.
Create and review training supporting material and media (guidelines, scripts, presentations, video tutorials, audio, assessments, simulations, role plays, games).
Make sure the training material respects defined templates, approach and quality standards.
Use the Learning Management System (LMS) as a system admin.
Improve design, illustrations and animations in collaboration with the design team
Establish a trusted relationship with all stakeholders, to ensure their full collaboration to the creation and review of the training content.
Promote the use of e-Learning courses among Agencies’ and HQ employees, with a special focus on Key Users.
Provide reporting and support documents in time, as required by the management team.
Participate to the enrichment of the training plans.
Track trainees’ performances using reports and dashboards from the LMS and from Power BI.
Craft and send periodical newsletters. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

**Experiences**:
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts (R)
Good knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (P)
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques (R)
Working experience in instructional design (R)
