Solaris Biotech, a Donaldson brand under Life Science & Special Application that Designs and Manufactures Bioprocessing equipment, including Bioreactors, Fermenters, and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems for R&D and production purposes.

We are currently looking for an Import & Export Specialist for our company.

The position will be based in Porto Mantovano.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and/or supervise the export-import orders following-up closely all the shipments
- Prepare shipping documentation (packing list, delivery notes, Customs declarations, Shipping invoices etc.)
- Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentations and their compliance
- Managing different transport procedures according to their complexity or destination (air, sea or road freight)
- Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import and export issues associated with all shipments
- Assist in handling and resolving freight claims
- Maintain all files and documentation relating to import/export matters, including export related KPIs and metrics
- Maintain the relationship with the current freight-forwarder partners, while constantly analyzing the market for more adapted/ efficient alternatives
- Collaborate and work effectively with teams involved in Shipping activities (after-market, warehouse/logistics, procurement, finance, project management)
- Managing Temporary Exportation or Experience with Carnet ATA

Education Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Logistics or Operations
- 3-5 years of experience in the role of Import & Export Specialist or similar

Technical Competence & Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the Incoterms 2020
- Knowledge of EU Customs / Department of Commerce export regulatory law
- Experience in dual-use shipments
- Knowledge of MS Office package
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 system is a plus
- Italian and English fluent
- Flexibility, ability to multitask, to manage time and to adopt to changes
- Pro-active attitude and ability to take decisions when necessary
