About the role...
Undermínimal supervision, support the success of the business through the creationand delivery of effective, accurate and timely HR related processes, programs,activities and reporting. The HRGeneralist is responsible for managing the Resorts employee relations, HRIS dataprocessing and data integrity, routine and ad hoc reporting and dashboards, leadingemployee engagement activities/programs and Resort orientation.
Whatyoull be doing...
- Manages employee relations for the Resort. Documents all concerns including intake and closure and reviews to identify trends. Conducts investigations, analyzes findings in accordance with legislation/company policy and identifies the most appropriate course of action. Partners with departments and provides guidance on appropriate resolution.
- Keeps current on state, federal and regulatory employment laws to ensure guidance is legally defensible. Applies sound judgment in determining risk and escalates Title VII, reputational related concerns and decisions to their leader to ensure mínimal risk.
- Creates, manages HR related reports, dashboards and audits on a reoccurring and ad-hoc basis to support HR strategies, operational needs and special projects as requested.
- Monitors, researches and administers HRIS change submissions received across the Resort, and reports themes and recommendations for business improvements and overall success to their leader.
- Leads the planning and implementation of employee engagement events throughout the year.
- Serves as facilitator and support for New Hire Orientation.
- Assumes special projects and tasks as requested.
Responds accurately and in a timely manner to requests for information ensuring data protections/privacy compliance.
- Demonstrates confidentiality in relation to sensitive information and documentation.
- Proactively trains and coaches line managers in professional HR practices.
- Work on site 80% of workweek.
Who were looking for...
Requires a minimum of 2 years human resources experience, preferable supporting a variety of activities.
Must have at least 1 year of experience conducting employee relations investigations and related decision making.
Requires fundamental knowledge of employment law (state and federal).
Must be able to present a professional image, utilize discretion and sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
Requires the ability to set up and maintain comprehensive and detailed paper and computerized files.
Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Must have intermediate level computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and have experience in working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Must be willing to workflexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends to support thebusiness operations.
