As Operations Manager, you will coordinate the activities of the Production, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering and Maintenance departments. You will support and promote the manufacturing strategy to deliver the future and most efficient organization of the plant in order to achieve the goals about EHS, quality, services and flows of production, in respect with the civil aviation regulation. The location of the plant is Comune di Casaletto Vaprio (Cremona area).

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and will have direct access to the Accountable Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build with the Plant manager and different qualify roles/people a lean and efficient organization of operation departments.
- Lead the operation team to deliver budget volumes to meet customer service targets.
- Define and lead an improvement process to deliver targeted plan attainment, productivity cost and product quality improvement.
- Evaluate production KPI for each department.
- Propose spend operations, in respect of budget and in agreement with Plant Manager.
- Drive the change process in order to improve the operation performance.
- Control and guarantee EHS policy in the productions department.
- Is responsible for short term decisions related to production activities.
- Ensure that materials and parts/components are procured from qualified suppliers.
- Is responsible for management of the Operations personnel.
- Lead the training of the Operations personnel.
- Approve the relevant Quality System procedures.
- Approve control plans relating to reorganizations or changes to the production sites of a new production location.
- Ensure that an internal occurrence reporting system is established.
- Help in internal and external audit activities and verify that actions relating to results are carried out within the agreed timescales.
- Assist in investigating and dealing with any continuing airworthiness actions related to parts that have been manufactured.

**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the industrial environment within a multinational company
- Preferred Mechanical, Aeronautical degrees, or a technical degree
- English fluent
- Focus on results, Drive change, promote teamwork, build trust & respect, understand market & customer perspective.
- People management experience
- Size up situations, Problem solving, solve conflicts, Plan, and organize, long term perspective.
- Able to communicate at all levels of the organization
