One of the main areas we are investing in as part of this journey is expanding our Digital Team with new figures, able to support initiatives and follow technological trends within industrial automation domain (digitalization, industry 4.0) and to bring innovative skills and dynamic solutions into our operational processes in the Electrification - Smart Building Division - HUB BU Din-IT, factory in Santa Palomba (RM). That is why we are looking for a Quality Engineer in order to strengthen our Quality team.

**This position reports to**:
Quality Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define quality requirements, quality gates and the process control plan for new launches.
- Support product development in early stage to ensure products satisfy quality specifications after launch sales.
- Define quality procedures and being responsible for quality trainings.
- Support the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment within the local business.
- Lead quality operation on a specific product family: continuous improvement both on process and product, coordinating quality activities in production focused on achieving business target within quality.
- Be a reference for suppliers/customers during the process audits to ensure the compliance of working practice, procedures, and production surveillance.
- Manage non-conformity issues: cooperating closely with other business functions and leading RCA according to DMAIC approach.
- Be responsible to manage quality data and metrics according ABB standards.

**Your background**:

- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering, also Mechanical will be considered.
- Experience of 2/3 years in similar roles will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis and statistical software (i.e. Minitab). Knowledge of lean six sigma methodology will be considered a plus.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Positive spirit, Proactivity, team working, responsiveness.
