Geotechnical Laboratory Technician

Posting Date: 24 Aug 2023- City: Genova- Location: Genova, IT, 16162- Contract Type: Fixed-Term- Division: Energy Engineering Solutions- Level of experience: Entry LevelRINA is currently recruiting for a **Geotechnical Laboratory Technician** to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

**Mission**:
This role is focused on performing technical mechanical or diagnostic tests to ensure quality;

**Responsibilities**:
Receiving, labeling and analyzing samples;
Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures;
Organizing and storing all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions;
Recording all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility;
Maintaining equipment and assisting in ordering laboratory supplies;
Ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment;
Communicating job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
High School Diploma/GED in Other
