**Compliance Officer**

As the Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance for the company's operations in El Salvador. You will serve as the main point of contact for all compliance-related matters and ensure that the company meets legal obligations and internal policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage physical files and documentation for sensitive business information according to data protection and privacy regulations
- Process sensitive corporate documents onsite and remotely including contracts, salary records, etc.
- Utilize company's internal systems and external networks to acquire goods/services for business units
- Coordinate information sharing and immigration logistics for company personnel
- Assist Managing Director with administrative tasks such as meeting minutes and action plans
- Monitor news and publications to identify regulatory risks and opportunities
- Collect and analyze data to provide insights to management on compliance issues
- Serve as Compliance Officer overseeing anti-money laundering regulations including implementing controls, reporting metrics, conducting training, and managing audits
- Remain updated on regulatory changes to take on additional compliance responsibilities as needed
- Take on other tasks assigned by management that match financial/accounting qualifications

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 5+ years experience in compliance, audit or related role
- In-depth knowledge of El Salvador regulations especially data protection and AML regulations
- Attention to detail with analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information discretely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
