Join our team to take on this outstanding opportunity in the Italian affiliate of Novo Nordisk (based in Rome), as Patient Journey Manager

**The Position**

In this role, reporting to the Obesity Business Unit Director, you will support our Obesity Business Unit, developing and implementing both strategic and tactical plans aiming the Patient Journey in alignment with local and international strategies for Obesity.
You will initiate, lead and implement Patient Journey initiatives e.g. Adherence programs in private channels, pharmacies a/o other relevant collaborations, and you will establish a PDTA (diagnostic therapeutic pathway) on private clinics working together with the clinic’s Patient Managers and other stakeholders.

Other key areas of this role:

- Map and define critical points of the Obesity Patient Journey of diagnosis, treatment, and overall care in Italy
- Map Insurances and Private Health Care groups willing set a dedicated obesity journey (PDTA)
- Build a strong Patient Awareness campaign based on digital initiatives in cross-functional teamwork with External Affairs (EA), including rethinking the HCP locator, Pharmacy Locator, link to HCP Portal and generating traffic to the Rethink Obesity Website
- Establish together with EAa roadmap for Obesity being recognized as a Disease and that low-income patients have equal access to innovative therapy
- Define Patient Journey KPI’s to focus on core business priorities. Develop measurements (KPIs) and preferred outcome (what good looks like) to follow progress and measure success and report performance on a regular basis according to plan (AMP Obesity)

**Qualifications**

You hold a university degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or equivalent (advanced Marketing/Business qualification is desirable). You have gained + 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical within Sales, Medical, Marketing, Public Affairs and/or Patient Advocacy, with a solid experience negotiating with external clients (health care groups, pharmacies, clinics etc.) and adopting innovative digital solutions. Experience from stigmatized disease area is an advantage.

- Stakeholder management skills and strong ability to work on cross-functional level

- Self-Leadership, with a Compliance mindset and a Change Management approach

The Obesity Business Unit is dedicated to changing the way obesity is treated, how it is considered and how it will evolve in the future.
